I know that there may be a lot of you who are trying to log into the VLE. Please be patient. The system is very slow when there are many people all trying to log in.

For those having difficulties logging into IXL, the website address is ca.ixl.com/. Your username and password have been emailed to your school email account.
Hi everyone! I hope that you all had a great weekend. It seems as if most people are getting an error message when they try to log into Mathletics. I will look into this for you. You can also continue to work on IXL. I do need everyone to at least log into www.myldcsb.ca and then ensure that you can get into the Virtual Learning Environment (large orange button). Please let me know today if you have any difficulties.
Stay healthy! Can everyone please log into Mathletics? I have heard that some students are having difficulties accessing Mathletics and I would like to ensure that you are all able to access it. If you cannot access it, please email me and let me know. I have assigned some algebra review work through Mathletics and as I am trying to figure out the program, I need your help to test it! Please complete one of the assigned activities.
Another resource that you can use is Mathletics. In order to access this, you must login to www.myldcsb.ca. Once there, you will click on the orange Virtual Learning Environment. After this, there will be a light blue button that says Mathletics project. I am still getting to know this program but I bleieve that there is an option to explore different topics.
Good morning!
I hope that everyone is staying healthy. I have started a 30 day trial of IXL math for our classes. Each student should have had their username and password emailed to their ldcsb email account. Please check your email. If you did not receive it, please email me and I will send it to you. This website will help you with review of previous material as well as looking at new, grade appropriate material. Stay healthy! Good afternoon,
Hi everyone!
I hope that you are all staying safe and healthy! If you wish to continue to keep up with math, here is a link to my yearly plan. www.edugains.ca/resourcesMath/CE/TIPS4Math/Grade7and_8_Overview_AODA.pdf We are currently on Page 4 - Location and Movement. We have already completed Linear Relationships. Our next topic will be cylinders. Don't forget to visit the math links section in order to access websites that will help with worksheets to do. Don't forget that Khan Academy is a good resource for lessons. The Ontario government has also put together a learn at home website. It can be found here: www.ontario.ca/page/learn-at-home Stay healthy, everyone! Please continue to monitor https://www.ldcsb.ca/ as well as school messenger for any updates regarding the school closure. In terms of work to accomplish over the course of the school closure, please be prepared for our fishbowl discussion as soon as we return to school. Other than that, there are no specific assignments. It is always a good idea to review previous work that has been completed.
Stay safe and stay healthy! Pour les mathématiques, je veux savoir ce que vous vous souvenez de l'année passée. Faites le quiz ici. forms.gle/ozDpYPQaza5NjmF59
